Patheous Health Imaging and Patheous Health Education officially closes on March 31, 2026. Any learner who satisfactorily completes a self-study course by midnight EST on March 31st, with the intention to earn ASHA CEUs, will be reported to the ASHA CE Registry. It is our understanding that educational content will still be available after March 31st until August 1st. Self-study courses completed after March 31st will not be reported to the ASHA CE Registry. Learners will obtain a certificate of completion verifying the number of Professional Development Hours (PDHs) earned. Documentation should be kept and tracked by the learner.

This three-course self-study bundle equips medical SLPs with essential professional competencies in cultural responsiveness, clinical supervision, and ethical practice. Learners will explore how health disparities affect patient care and outcomes, develop cultural humility, and build actionable strategies for providing responsive, equitable services. The supervision course offers practical tools to reduce overwhelm, strengthen leadership skills, and confidently mentor in medical placements. The ethics module reviews foundational medical ethics, ASHA’s Code of Ethics, and real-world strategies for navigating challenging clinical situations. These courses fulfill ASHA’s certification requirements for cultural responsiveness, supervision, and ethics Professional Development Hours. Together, these courses provide a comprehensive, practice-ready toolkit for today’s medical SLP.
